TRANSVAC: European Training in Vaccinology
The TRANSVAC2 Consortium has set up training modules at leading European centers that can be combined to create customised international courses on vaccine R&D. Two rounds of tailored training courses are planned. Participants can select topics as needed in their field of vaccine development and the timelines of the various modules are harmonized in a way that allows a logical continuation from one topic to the other.
TRANSVAC2 project offers high-quality technical services to support the development of prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines for both human and animal use. These services are not restricted to any disease in particular.

Except for the few cases indicated on the website, services will be offered free of charge!
Academic and non-academic research groups, SMEs and industries can apply but only to service infrastructures outside their own country.

We have a limited number of places left on the next ENOVA Training School on “Immunoactive carbohydrates and adjuvants: antibacterial vaccines from research to clinical trials” in Sienna which is running from the 2nd to 4th April. The deadline for applications has been extended to March 8th.
The Training School is suitable for Ph.D. students and researchers who have a basic knowledge of analytical and organic chemistry and would like to increase their knowledge of vaccine development specifically in the area carbohydrate-based vaccines.

The EU-funded project TRANSVAC2 and the “Infectious Diseases Models for Innovative Therapies” (IDMIT) are pleased to invite you to a TRANSVAC workshop on “In vivo imaging of host response to vaccines and infections” on 29 March 2019 at the IDMIT research infrastructure at the CEA center of Fontenay-aux-Roses (France). The workshop concentrates on latest advances in new technologies for imaging in living individuals.
